I've had a busy start to this week...I start my new job Monday so I have had a lot of documents to print out and read over and unfortunately my printer isn't working the way it's supposed to. It prints too slow...frustrating. I'm looking forward to this job. I'll be doing court research and since it's a work- from-home opportunity and I won't be driving too far to the courthouse, it will give me more time to do some writing.
I'm also de-fleaing my house and dogs so my stress level has been reaching it's limit. I feel like that's all I've been doing lately. It seems everything I'm using hasn't worked so I ordered BioSpot online since I can't get it around here and in a few days I can nip this and get my yard sprayed. So that problem will be gone. I've been apologizing to my dogs right and left...I figure they will go easy on me when the canine empire takes over the world.
I did get a good start on myNaNo novel. I started working on my characters a little more but I'm struggling with the outline. I think I'm getting overwhelmed by trying to outline the entire novel. So I'm going to finish it tonight by being simple and go back to it during this month and add to it. I've tried in the past with this story line to write it out but have failed because I have never done the prep. I'm using October NaNo Prep Challenge on Writing.Com to help me. I'm a little behind but I'm still working on it.
I've been visiting a few blogs, commented on one. I'm really impressed with everyone's goals and posts. My short story is still in the finishing process but have ideas for more. I'm always writing these ideas down in my notebook. In fact, found some old notebooks and can't wait to get some of those older ideas typed up as short stories.
That's my update for now! Have to get back to work!
